Fungai Rufaro Machirori is a Chevening scholar reading for her Masters Degree in Applied Development Studies at the University of Reading in the UK. She has worked in HIV and AIDS media, communication and research – in Zimbabwe and South Africa – since 2006 and lists poetry, prose, blogging and gender advocacy as her passions. She recently released an anthology of poetry entitled ‘Sunflowers In Your Eyes’ along with three other Zimbabwean female poets.
